The Hakusan series from Sailor is a beautiful interpretation of their classic King of Pens: using a special technique, black Urushi lacquer is applied to the fountain pen, which is particularly matt and creates a structure reminiscent of wood. The fountain pen is refined by the application of metal leaf.
The shape is also special here: by omitting a clip, a kind of "fin" has been incorporated into the cap, which is intended to function as a roll stopper.
The fountain pen has an extra large 21 kt gold nib with a line width of M. It is 152 mm long when closed and has a cap diameter of 18.7 mm. It weighs 31 g. A fountain pen kimono is also included in the delivery.
